Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker
Born and raised in Southampton, William “Bill” Wines has experienced the best of what the East End has to offer: the greatest beaches in the world, unparalleled golf, farm fresh produce, beautiful scenery, small town holiday celebrations, and world-class cultural activities. Representing the eleventh generation of his family in the community, Bill knows that these qualities draw people from all over the world in search of their own special piece of eastern Long Island.
After earning his undergraduate degree and MBA from Boston College, Bill could have pursued a Fortune 500 career path similar to that of his peers. Instead, the appeal of the Hamptons lured him back home. As such, Bill decided to pass on the metropolitan lifestyle and return to Southampton to build a career in real estate. This move afforded him the unique opportunity to leverage his extensive education, vast knowledge of the local communities, and distinguished family heritage.
Clients benefit from Bill’s background and experiences in a variety of ways. He can offer native knowledge of the East End market coupled with a refined analytical skill set that is extremely valuable in making informed financial decisions. Ultimately, Bill’s goal is to provide his clients the best and most stress-free outcome possible by listening to their needs, delivering sound advice, and managing the process efficiently and effectively.
Buying, selling, or renting property on the South and North Forks of Long Island is often emotionally driven; however, real estate transactions on the East End represent significant financial decisions and must be treated as such. With that in mind, Bill views his role as much more than simply facilitating the closing of a deal – it is to be a valued and trusted advisor to his clients.
Ranked in the highest one percent of agents in the nation by Real Trends and the Wall Street Journal, Bill works with his wife and father as a founding member of the top producing Wines Team. He has participated in numerous large transactions and helped the Wines Team place number fifteen in the country for average sales price.
